Taxidermy is not immune to the rising cost of material's and supplies. At an average of a 5% increase every year on most supplies and operating cost, we can not operate at decade old prices. To help offset rising cost, every effort is made to keep cost down and to bring quality well above "average  commercial taxidermy".
